I don't like farming for stuff on a single-player game - I have done that on MMOs multiple times and I have had enough. Where is Horrus the Cursed Smith? Here he is! Where is the special Smith who can craft Tainted Brain Matter? This is where you can find Craig's Crags and Kalis Ka, the Bonehunter This is the quest where you are tasked to kill the Kalis Ka, the Bonehunter and to get the Fang of Bonehunter. Quest location: East Marsh, east of Burrwitch or more specifically Craig's Crags. **Took down this beast at a much lower level (the boss name is red for me).Make sure to get that Personal Riftgate up before engaging and use potions even when you think you don't really need it yet (depends on the resistances you have though).Have high Bleeding and Pierce Resistances.Report back to Captain Reave at Fort Ikon of your success.Taking on the Kalis Ka, the Bonehunter while under-leveled You have slain the Aetherial witch Anasteria. You have spoken with Anasteria and agreed with Reave's assessment. Head into the Fort Ikon prison and deal with this traitorous wretch. ![]() He is under strict orders not to harm Anasteria, but you are under no such obligation. This will provide you with all of her dungeon's loot which can be shared in the Item Transfer Stash.Īnasteria will then offer the Power of our Enemies quest.Ĭaptain Reave will then offer the Cult Activity side quest.Ĭaptain Reave of the Black Legion has determined that all of the Legion's recent troubles stem from the arrival of an aetherial witch in their midst. Also, Anasteria gains strength as your reputation decreases by killing her, making her fight tougher, but allowing easy-to-find Nemesis mobs to spawn inside once you reach Nemesis reputation.Ī third option is to befriend her in all difficulties and then, using a separate character, kill her in all difficulties. This will cause her dungeon to be unlocked at the highest difficulty that will provide you with the best possible loot. Access to the Outcast's Aether Resistance augments can be useful the Order of Death's Vigil and The Black Legion quartermasters have similar augments, but with less Aether Resistance.Ī second option is to befriend her in Normal and Elite difficulties and kill her in Ultimate. This will provide very useful 70+ gear and augments to your already-high-level character, along with most likely being Revered with The Black Legion by the time you reach Ultimate. One option is to kill Anasteria in Normal and Elite difficulties and befriend her in Ultimate. The Fort Ikon Prison (as an enemy dungeon after killing Anasteria) is a short, one-level dungeon packed with Elites and an end boss (Anasteria), making it an excellent spot for farming gear. This reputation loss is easily offset by running a Black legion Bounty and using a Writ of the Black Legion. Outcast reputation is gained very quickly, as the quests from Anasteria have very high reputation rewards, but they also decrease Black Legion reputation at the same time. This also means that, while she may still be friendly in The Fort Ikon Prison in a difficulty she was befriended, her augments and equipment will no longer be available in any difficulty. Changing your mind with her in a new difficulty will cause your Outcast reputation to reset to 0 (Tolerated) across all difficulties. ![]() However, with Anasteria it is a little different. Access to Outcast's Secret, a Legendary helm that only drops from Anasteria.Īs with most quests, your choices in one difficulty can be different in the next.Unlock the Fort Ikon Prison dungeon with Anasteria as a boss at the end and a great source of The Black Legion reputation farming, Elite mobs, and gear.Access to some of the best Aether Resistance augments in the game, able to be applied on weapons and armor.Unlock the Outcast faction, equipment, bounty table, and quest line, which increases Outcast reputation and decreases Black Legion reputation.Talk to her and decide whether to kill her or let her live. Speak to Anasteria at the Fort Ikon PrisonĪnasteria is located in the Fort Ikon Prison.
